Sustainability Framework

The goal of the City's Sustainability Framework is to develop and incorporate conceptual objectives focused on supporting sustainable practices in all aspects of the City operations and community actions. This Framework incorporates a triple bottom line evaluation approach into most City Capital Improvement Projects and will be used to review ideas and direct decision making.

The intent is to begin with the activities within the City; however true sustainability must be a regional, multi governmental, and broad social and economic activity. It is the hope that this framework will serve as a regional baseline for other communities to emulate and adopt.
