Home Energy Retrofit Program
The Holland Home Energy Retrofit Program is a financial partnership between Holland Energy Fund and homeowners. The program helps homeowners in the City of Holland make energy efficiency improvements.
City of Holland homeowners who invest at least $10,000 to increase the energy efficiency of their homes are eligible to receive a 20% rebate grant from Holland Energy Fund through June 30, 2021. The Holland Energy Fund was created as a nonprofit corporation to facilitate and finance aspects of the City of Holland’s comprehensive, long-range Community Energy Plan. One of these programs is the Home Energy Retrofit Program and the other is the Holland On-Bill Loan Program.
How Do I Qualify?
- Be a homeowner in the City of Holland
- Schedule a free whole-house energy assessment and implement an energy efficiency improvement plan using an authorized BPI Certified contractor.
- Spend at least $10,000 on improvements listed in the Michigan Energy Measures Database (MEMD).
Qualifications to meet by June 30, 2021 to receive the 20% rebate grant:
- Free Energy Audit Complete
- Financing secured
- Project minimum $10,000
- Project work is scheduled with contractor
