Temporary lane closures on US 31 & Lincoln Ave

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER
Order No. 2023-T-000002 Effective Date March 6th – 10th, 2023
(when official traffic control signs or devices conforming to this order are erected.)
In accordance with Section 18-16 of the Holland City Code, the following traffic regulations are issued:
Effective on Monday March 6th, 2023, there will be various lane closures as follows:
- Monday March 6th: Left lane closure on SB US-31 at Lincoln Ave to install a strain pole in the east median at Lincoln. The closure will be in place from 9am to 3pm.
- Tuesday March 7th & Wednesday March 8th: SB Lincoln Ave right/thru lane closure from 40th St to US-31. Traffic travelling SB on Lincoln Ave will be able to turn left on to SB US-31 from the left lane of Lincoln Ave.
- Thursday March 9th: Left & right turn lane closures on NB M-40 at US-31. Traffic will be able to turn on to both NB & SB US-31 using the NB Lincoln Ave thru lane when each turn lane is closed.
Work is expected to conclude by March 10th, 2023.
This work is not expected to cause travel delays as motorists will be able to use the other lanes outlined above.
Date and time of this project are subject to change depending on weather and other factors.
Special Instructions –
The Contractor (MDOT) will setup and maintain all barricades, signs and warning devices as deemed necessary to assure public safety. Contractor must follow guidelines for road closures or lane closures as set forth in the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices.
