CITY OF HOLLAND

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER

Order No.  2023-T-000035               Effective Date August 15, 2023                   

(when official traffic control signs or devices conforming to this order are erected.)

In accordance with Section 18-16 of the Holland City Code, the following traffic regulations are issued:

Effective Aug 15, 2023, College Avenue will be closed to all through traffic for Phase 3 Road Reconstruction between 6^th and 8^th Streets. The intersection at 7^th & College will remain open to West bound traffic on 7^th Street. 

This work will be done in Three (3) phases as follows –

Phase 1 - 6^th St.; River to College Ave.; May to July

Phase 2- Revised - 6^th St.; College to Columbia Ave & Columbia Ave.; 6^th to 7^th Streets

Phase 3 - College Ave.; 6^th to 8^th Streets

 Motorists will be required to follow the posted detours.    

Special Instructions –

The Contractor (Kamminga & Roodvoets) will setup and maintain all barricades, signs and warning devices as deemed necessary to assure public safety.  Contractor must follow guidelines for road closures or lane closures as set forth in the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices.
