TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER

Order No.  2021-T-000017               Effective Date   May 10 – August 31, 2021                 

(when official traffic control signs or devices conforming to this order are erected.)

In accordance with Section 18-16 of the Holland City Code, the following traffic regulations are issued:
Effective immediately College Avenue will be closed to all through traffic for Phase 1 Road Reconstruction between 14^th & 16^th Streets.  Phase 2 will include closure of the intersection of 17^th & 18^th Street to all traffic.  The intersections of 16^th and 19^th @ College will remain open at all times.

This work will be done in Four (4) phases as follows –

Phase 1 – College Ave; 14^th – 16^th Streets

Phase 2 – College Avenue; 16^th – 19^th Streets  Work on Phase 2 scheduled to start June 8th
Phase 3 – College Avenue; 19^th – 22nd Streets

Phase 4 – College Avenue; 22^nd – 24^th Streets
Motorists will be required to follow the posted detours. 
Special Instructions –

The Contractor (Schipper’s Excavating) will setup and maintain all barricades, signs and warning devices as deemed necessary to assure public safety.  Contractor must follow guidelines for road closures or lane closures as set forth in the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices.
