Intersection Closures for Railroad Work

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER
Order No. 2021-T-000022 Effective Date July 19-25, 2021
(when official traffic control signs or devices conforming to this order are erected.)
In accordance with Section 18-16 of the Holland City Code, the following traffic regulations are issued:
Beginning Monday, July 19, 2021 the following major intersections will be closed to all traffic.
Lincoln Avenue between 8th & 9th Streets.
E 9th Street between Columbia and Lincoln Avenues
E 10th Street between Columbia and Lincoln Avenues
Road closures are needed as C.S.X. Railroad will be in Holland removing and rebuilding these railroad crossings. Work is expected to be complete in 7 days by July 25, 2021. These dates are weather dependent and subject to change.
These closures will cause travel delays as all motorists will be required to follow the posted detour routes. In order to facilitate the detour routes No Parking will be posted on select streets.
Special Instructions –
The Contractor (C.S.X. Railroad) will setup and maintain all barricades, signs and warning devices as deemed necessary to assure public safety. Contractor must follow guidelines for road closures or lane closures as set forth in the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices.
