Centennial Park was originally set aside as the village marketarea, but was dedicated to park use in 1876, in honor of the country's 100th anniversary. The park has a gazebo available for rental for small wedding ceremonies. The park has the following amenities:
historic marker honoring Dutch settlers in Michigan are located in the park. Brick pathways were added in 1987, making the park handicap accessible.
