TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER

Order No.  2023-T-000018               Effective Date  May 15 – July 31, 2023                   

(when official traffic control signs or devices conforming to this order are erected.)

In accordance with Section 18-16 of the Holland City Code, the following traffic regulations are issued:

Effective May 15^th,2023, 6^th Street will be closed to all through traffic for Phase 1 Road Reconstruction between River and College Avenues.  

This work will be done in Three (3) phases as follows –

Phase 1 - 6^th St.; River to College Ave.; May to July

Phase 2 – College Ave.; 6^th to 8^th Streets

Phase 3 – 6^th St.; College to Columbia Ave. & Columbia Ave; 6^th to 7^th Street

 Motorists will be required to follow the posted detours.    

Special Instructions –

The Contractor (Kamminga & Roodvoets) will setup and maintain all barricades, signs and warning devices as deemed necessary to assure public safety.  Contractor must follow guidelines for road closures or lane closures as set forth in the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices.
