TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER
Order No. 2021-T-000015 Effective Date May 17 – Oct. 30, 2021
(when official traffic control signs or devices conforming to this order are erected.)
In accordance with Section 18-16 of the Holland City Code, the following traffic regulations are issued:
Effective on Monday, August 16, 2021, Pine Avenue will be closed to all traffic at 9th Street for Phase 2 of the 10th Street Road Reconstruction Project between College and Pine Avenues. This road closure will cause travel delays to motorists entering the city from the northside. Commuter’s should add extra time for their normal travels as they will have to follow the posted detour.
This work will be done in Three (3) phases as follows –
Phase 1 - 10th St.; Lincoln to College Ave.; May to early July
Phase 2 – 10th St.; College Ave. to Pine Ave.; *August 2 to October
Phase 3 – 10th St.; Pine to VanRaalte Ave.; mid-September to late October.
*Schedules are subject to change based on weather or underground conditions upon excavation.
Special Instructions –
The Contractor (Kamminga & Roodvoets) will setup and maintain all barricades, signs and warning devices as deemed necessary to assure public safety. Contractor must follow guidelines for road closures or lane closures as set forth in the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices.
