Holland residents are admitted free of charge with their Holland, MI drivers license with the exception of Tulip Time.
Please plan on a 2 hour visit to Windmill Island Gardens, or 3 hours minimum during Tulip Time, May 4 to May 12, 2019.
The park is accessible, with the exception of the upper floors of the windmill. Wheelchairs are available for use on site - please inquire at the office in the Post House.
Pets are allowed with the exclusion of the windmill and gift shop due to food processing. Pets will need to be leashed and picked-up after. We have Doggie-Pot bag dispensers available to our visitors around the park.
Please, no drones on the property.
Windmill Island Gardens is a member of the American Public Gardens Association and the American Horticultural Society.
A current Friends of Windmill Island Gardens membership, American Horticultural Society or a participating garden entitles you to special admission privileges and discounts at nearly 300 gardens! Become a Friend of Windmill Island Gardens member.
To develop and maintain a high quality, local, state and national tourist attraction, which reflects the Dutch heritage of the City of Holland, supports the Tulip Time Festival, as well as, the local tourist economy, and provides a facility for the community to celebrate special events.
