This morning, at about 12:30 a.m., officers of the Holland DPS responded to 1139 Lincoln Ave., the Lincoln Estates Mobile Home Park, for a report of a subject who had been stabbed. Prior to emergency responders arriving on scene, Holland Hospital called to report a subject had arrived at the emergency department who had been stabbed.
The victim in the incident, a 19 year old Holland man, had been in an altercation with the suspect. During the incident, the suspect grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect left the area prior to officers arriving. The victim had been transported to the hospital in a private vehicle.
With assistance of deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, officers later located the suspect at a residence in Holland Township. He was arrested and lodged at the Ottawa County Youth Home.
No further information will be released on the suspect's identity due to him being a juvenile.
