Beginning Monday, June 23, there are a few temporary road closures for construction.

Temporary Road Closure on 4^th Street, Between Central & River Avenues

Effective Monday, June 23^rd, 4^th Street, between Central and River Avenues, will be closed to all thru traffic, At this time, a third-party contractor will be making a road cut to install underground utilities in the area. Work is expected to be completed by June 27^th at 5 pm.

Temporary Road Closure on South Shore Drive, Between Thomas & Diekema Avenues

Effective Monday, June 23^rd, South Shore Drive, between Thomas & Diekema Avenues, will be closed to all thru traffic.  At this time, a third-party contractor will be making a road cut to install underground utilities in the area. Work is expected to be completed by June 27^th at 5 pm.

This road closure will cause travel disruptions, and motorists will be required to follow the detour. The detour route will be posted for both northbound and Southbound traffic. Access for emergency vehicles and local traffic will be maintained with contractor coordination.

Temporary Road Closure on 17^th Street, between River & Pine Avenues

Effective Monday, June 23^rd, 2025, 17^th Street, between River & Pine Avenues, will be closed to all thru traffic, At this time, the City of Holland will be milling and paving the road in this area. Work is expected to be completed by June 24^th, 2025, at 4 pm.
