[ARCHIVED] Temporary 10th Street Cycle Track

10th Street Bike Lane

The City is setting up a temporary protected cycle track on 10th Street between VanRaalte and Lincoln Avenues. It will be open to two-way bike traffic; separated from car traffic by paint and construction barrels.

During this trial period (demo), changes to the road cross-section will be done on a temporary basis with traffic tape, cones, signs, and some lightly applied white paint lines.

The demo will be set up by over the weekend of August 16  and will last for one week between Lincoln and Pine Avenue. The section from Pine to Van Raalte Avenue will last an additional week with everything removed and returned to normal Monday, August 31. We invite everyone to come down and see how it feels to ride on this family-friendly route!

When the demo is completed, we will remove all the tape, cones and signs and fog out the lines with some black paint and return the road cross-section back to what it was before the demo.

We encourage residents to submit questions/comments via email to transportation@cityofholland.com.
