The Holland Department of Public Safety would like to invite the public and members of the media to the “Battle of the Badges” charity softball game. This event is free to the public, and will feature Holland Department of Public Safety Police Officers taking on the Fire Firefighters. The event will be held on Saturday, August 28th at 3pm at the Matt Urban Sports Complex, 270 E 32nd St, Holland, MI. We are excited to resurrect this event and all proceeds this year will go to Shields of Hope West Michigan.
Shields of Hope, a non-profit organization, is run by local Public Safety professionals in West Michigan. Their mission is to spread hope, love and encouragement to those in our community affected by cancer. This event would not be possible without the support of the community and local businesses.
