Reference: Arrest of Homicide Suspect out of Wisconsin
Yesterday, 3/30/2020, the Holland Police received information that 19-year-old Amaree Goodall of Madison WI, was wanted for homicide out of Wisconsin, was in the Holland area. Further investigation led officers to believe that Mr. Goodall may possibly be in an apartment in the 300 block of Stratford Way in Holland City. Officers began to watch the area to see if Mr. Goodall could be located in the area as it was initially uncertain exactly which apartment he may in.
Holland detectives, WEMET detectives and the Holland Police tactical team were set up in the area observing and watching for Mr. Goodall. After further investigation it was determined which apartment he was likely in. Mr. Goodall was then observed by police in that apartment. Officers called him out of the apartment, he complied and was taken into custody without incident.
Mr. Goodall was lodged at the Ottawa County Jail and will appear in the 58th District Court. At that time, he will have the option of waiving his extradition rights to be transferred to Wisconsin or request and extradition hearing.
