This morning at approximately at approximately 12:13 a.m. officers of the Holland DPS responded to a shooting at the apartment complex located at 956 Lincoln Avenue.  Upon arrival, officers located a 36-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds.  Officers attempted life saving measures, but the victim died at the scene due to his injuries.

Officers determined that some type of argument took place between the victim and the suspect prior to shots being fired.  Many potential witnesses fled from the area prior to police arriving on scene.  Officers and detectives have worked through the night and continue to follow up on all investigative leads.
