Volunteers are, and always have been, an integral part of the City of Holland. It is volunteers for special projects/events, or volunteers for Advisory Boards, Commissions, and Committees, who serve on committees, give of their time and talents, and who help make this the special place that the City of Holland is to all of us.
Advisory Boards, Commissions, and Committees (Appointed Positions)
The City of Holland has several different boards, commissions, and committees (BCCs) that advise the City Council on specific topics. BCC members serve on a volunteer basis. Membership requirements and term length vary by BCC. Appointments are ultimately made by the Mayor or City Council. Visit City Advisory Boards, Commissions, and Committees to learn more about the position, the committee, and the Online Application form
