We accept applications for employment at any time, full and part-paid. These are kept on file for 6 months, after that time you must resubmit. To be eligible for full-time positions applicants must currently possess the following:
- Hazardous Materials Responder - Operations Level Certification
- Michigan Basic EMT License (NREMT)
- Michigan Fire Fighter I and II Certification
- A minimum of an Associates Degree (Fire Science or related field is preferred)
Certifications
Paid on call or part-paid positions do not require certifications or experience however it is preferred. Regardless of position, all candidates must successfully complete a physical ability test, interview, comprehensive background exam and pre-employment physical to be considered for appointment.
