Biography
Tim was born and raised in Holland and is a graduate of Holland High School. He has a Master of Arts in sport administration from Central Michigan University and a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from GVSU.
Tim is currently an Adult Student Specialist in the Center for Adult & Continuing Studies at Grand Valley State University.
Tim’s wife, Cynthia, is a Spanish immersion kindergarten teacher at Holland Language Academy. He has two children: Enzo is a senior at Holland High School and Mia is a 3rd year law student in the Michigan State University College of Law. Tim and his family are parishioners of St. Francis de Sales.
Community Involvement
He is actively involved in the community as the President of the Board of Trustees for Herrick District Library, on the Board of Directors of Latin Americans United for Progress, and is the Community Engagement Coordinator for Tulip City United Soccer Club. He has also served as Secretary of the Board of Trustees for Holland Public Schools, on the City of Holland Human Relations Commission, and on the City of Holland Parks and Recreation Commission.
