Police Records and Reports

How to obtain reports and records at the Holland Department of Public Safety:

A "Local History Record Check" may only be requested by, and turned over to, the person named in the request. The person named must pick up the record in person, with photo I.D., at the Holland Department of Public Safety.

Criminal background information, all arrests in the state of Michigan, can be obtained through the website Michigan.gov/msp. Select the ICHAT icon at the bottom of the page. 

Police reports may be requested and released if approved by the proper Holland Department of Public Safety authority. Some cases may still be active or under investigation and may not be released.  Reports can be mailed after payment is received.
