South Shore Village Business Improvement District

Overview

The South Shore Village Business Improvement District (BID) Board promotes land development and economic growth in the area. Since the creation of the district, the City partnered with the district property and business owners as well as the State to fund and construct the South Shore Village streetscape and pedestrian promenade improvements which have been a great success.

Regular Meetings

  • The South Shore Village BID generally meets the third Tuesday of each month
    at 1:00 p.m. 
  • Meetings are held at City Hall, 270 S. River Avenue in the Third Floor Conference Room.

Membership

  • Nine (9) members
  • Staggered terms (one, two, and three-year terms)
  • No City residency requirement (district property and business owners)
  • Two (2) terms
  • Members appointed by the City Manager
