Neighborhood Improvement Committee (NIC)

Overview

The Neighborhood Improvement Committee is an advisory committee to the Holland City Council working for the improvement of Holland’s neighborhoods and housing supply. This Committee focuses on City‐wide and targeted neighborhood programs and policies utilizing the Blueprint for Flourishing Neighborhoods, the City’s Master Plan, and other Council‐approved policies as guiding documents. 

This committee provides oversight and guidance to the City’s Community Development Block Grant Program along with the City’s support for the various neighborhood-based organizations working in the City, and also oversees the Neighborhood Mini-Grant Program.
